The final day of the Atlantic Cup comes to a close and what a day it was! Full of intense moments and drop offs galore! We are absolutely exhausted but extremely proud of all the performances shown by our Wales Youth teams. The future looks very bright for Touch in Wales!

Huge congratulations to our Wales Mixed U18s team who took Gold in their division after a high-scoring 12-12 tie with England in normal time. It only took a moment of brilliance from Gethin O’Callaghan to unleash his pace as he flew up the nearside wing to run half the length of the field before off-loading a fantastic inside pass to Sonny Greenman to score the winning try! To top it off, Gethin was deservedly given Final MVP award 🔥
Our Boys 18 team put in some great performances all week in a highly competitive division, only falling short to England at the last hurdle, and picking up a well earned Silver medal along the way. Our Mixed 15 team were on fire all tournament too, winning so many games convincingly in a division with 8 countries in total! They narrowly lost to France (the eventual winners) before beating Ireland for the Bronze medal in a highly competitive play-off. Our Girls 18 team put up a valiant effort all tournament, beating South Africa along the way, but narrowly missed out on a medal position finishing in 4th place.
Mixed 18s - Gold 🥇
Boys 18s - Silver 🥈
Mixed 15s - Bronze 🥉
Girls 18s - 4th place
Huge, huge thanks to all our coaches, team managers and volunteers that made this possible.
